Practice protocol · Safety
Stopping is a complete result.
Direct inquiry should increase clarity, not demand endurance. You remain in charge of whether, when, and how long you participate.
Before a practice
- Read the complete prompt and safety note first.
- Keep your eyes open unless a practice explicitly offers a choice.
- Do not practice while driving, operating equipment, intoxicated, or responsible for another person’s immediate safety.
- Choose a familiar setting and skip the practice if you are already overwhelmed or destabilized.
During a practice
Stop if you experience panic, marked confusion, derealization, depersonalization, disturbing perceptual changes, or a sense that continuing is unsafe. You do not need to push through discomfort or obtain an insight.
To return: name five things you can see, feel the surface supporting you, notice sounds in the room, move your hands and feet, and contact someone you trust if useful.
After a practice
Treat what you noticed as one observation, not a final truth. Do not make major medical, financial, relationship, or safety decisions based on an inquiry experience. Repeat only when you feel settled.
When professional care matters
Unduality is not psychotherapy or medical care. If you have a history of psychosis, mania, dissociation, severe trauma responses, or another condition affected by intensive introspection, consult a qualified clinician before participating.
If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself or someone else, stop using this site and contact local emergency services or a crisis resource in your country.
